Supply of Raw Materials
Once a polyurethane system has been selected and production has been successfully launched, the next critical factor is reliable and well-managed raw material supply. Polyol blends typically have a shelf life of approximately three months, while isocyanates generally have a six-month shelf life. For this reason, maintaining large inventories is neither practical nor recommended.
